The decision to pursue a merger with HOME Federal Credit Union was made with a considerable amount of time evaluating what will best serve our members not just today, but for years to come. With that in mind, this merger was part of a thoughtful, long-term plan to strengthen the credit union and the financial lives of those we proudly serve every day.

Is my money safe?
Yes, your money remains safe and secure. Your accounts will continue to be protected by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the U.S. government, and federally insured up to at least $250,000.
Will my direct deposit or account change?
In the short term, nothing will change with your account(s), loan(s), and existing direct deposits, automatic payments, etc. Eventually, once the merger is finalized, your accounts will transfer to a new system with HOME Federal Credit Union. However, we will provide ample time and detailed instructions before that takes place.
Will your branch remain open?
Yes! Our branch will remain open and will eventually become a HOME Federal Credit Union branch location. You will continue to see and interact with the same people you have known for years.
Why is this merger taking place?
The goal is simple: to bring you more. By joining HOME Federal Credit Union, we believe members will benefit from expanded products, enhanced services, and greater long-term stability, while continuing the people-first philosophy that defines credit unions.
What should I do right now?
There is nothing you need to do currently. As we progress through the merger process, you will receive information about upcoming changes. Rest assured, you will receive detailed instructions about any changes with plenty of time to complete any tasks. Our goal is to make this transition as simple and as rewarding as possible for our members.
Who is HOME Federal Credit Union?
If you are unfamiliar with HOME Federal Credit Union, they have been a staple throughout Clarksburg since 1950 and are right down the street from our current office.
Over the years, they have expanded to offer membership to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Harrison County, as well as select employee groups throughout 36 counties in West Virginia.
We chose to merge with HOME Federal Credit Union because they remain committed to the credit union mission of “People Helping People” and best aligned with our desire to help those within our community to improve their finances and achieve their goals.
